On Saturday September 11th, 2010, Justin Hansen will start kayaking 240 miles from Manchester to London to help raise a minimum of £20,000 for research into Tissue Engineering at St. Mark's Hospital, Harrow.

Justin has a stoma, is on TPN, and will be connected to his intravenous nutrition at all times during this 20 day trip. The piece depicts Bono straddling the world on the sides of poverty and riches....on one side of his face we can see America - opulent, decadent and powerful - set against Africa on the opposite side with it’s poverty and corruption. The glasses are polished bronze like pools of gold against a collage of images that illustrate the cultural values of each society.
